Check Your Order: Did You Buy From JD Health Tech?

The quickest way to check

Every JD Health Tech order number is 8 digits long and ends in 1001. For example: 15971001.

If your order number looks different from that, your order was placed with a different company. We will not be able to find it, refund it, or track it, because it is not on our system.

We are contacted every week by people who believe they have ordered from us but have actually ordered from another company. We know how worrying that is, so this page explains how to tell the difference in about 30 seconds, and exactly what to do next either way.

The 30-second check

Look at your order confirmation email and check these three things.

1. Order number Ours are 8 digits and end in 1001. A short number such as 3843, or one with letters in it, is not ours.
2. Email address Our emails come from an address ending @jdhealthtech.co.uk. Nothing else is us.
3. Website address We only ever sell from jdhealthtech.co.uk and from our own shops on Amazon and eBay. We do not operate any other website.

If your order IS with us

Good news, we can help straight away. Please email info@jdhealthtech.co.uk with your order number and we will come back to you. Every message is answered by our own UK team.

If your order is NOT with us

We are sorry, and we understand this is frustrating. We genuinely cannot access another company's orders, payments or refunds, so the steps below are the fastest route to getting your money back. Please do them in this order.

1. Contact your bank or card provider first. This is the most important step and often the fastest. Tell them you want to dispute a payment. If you paid by debit or credit card you may be able to claim the money back through chargeback or Section 75. Ask them to check the trading name that actually took the payment, as it is often different from the name on the website.

2. Check your bank statement for repeat payments. Some people find they have been charged more than once, or signed up to a recurring payment they did not intend. Ask your bank to stop any future payments to that company.

3. Report it. In England, Wales or Northern Ireland, report to Action Fraud at actionfraud.police.uk/reportscam or call 0300 123 2040 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm). In Scotland, call Police Scotland on 101.

4. Keep everything. Save the confirmation email, the advert if you can still find it, the website address, and your bank statement entry. Your bank and Action Fraud will ask for these.

Why does this keep happening?

Several separate businesses advertise hearing products online using names similar to ours, including names containing "Clarity Pro", which is the name of one of our product ranges. Some of these adverts appear on Facebook and other social media.

They are not connected with JD Health Tech in any way. We do not supply them, we cannot see their orders, and we have no way to issue refunds on their behalf. We only wish we could, because we speak to people affected by this most weeks.

If you would like to know what to look for before ordering next time, we wrote a plain-English guide: How to spot fake hearing aid ads on Facebook.

How to be certain it is really us

  • The web address is jdhealthtech.co.uk
  • Our registered address is Unit 22, Ashfield Crescent, Wigan, Lancashire WN5 7TE
  • Emails come from @jdhealthtech.co.uk
  • If you are ever unsure before ordering, email us first and ask. We would far rather answer that question than the one that comes afterwards.

Still not sure? Just ask us.

Email info@jdhealthtech.co.uk with whatever information you have, even if it is only the name on your bank statement. We will tell you honestly whether the order is ours, and if it is not, we will point you to the right place. There is no charge and you do not need to have bought anything from us.
