These are so good that my hard of hearing mum thought we were talking so loud she wanted us to be quieter when talking, there's definitely a learning curve to these and making sure you have the right sized ear covers on, as needs to be snug in ear canal or there's terrible feedback screeching, plus she thought she was shouting and when walking thought she was stamping loudly, you need to ease into them trying 30mins per day to get used to them, there's more control with the free easy to use app, they're great and she can hear the tv now without trying to deafen us🤣, good value and good battery life.

For me, one of the standout features of the JD Health Tech Rechargeable Sound Device is how incredibly discreet it is. Thanks to the noise cancellation, it filters out unwanted background noise. Conversations are clearer, and I no longer feel like people are mumbling all the time. I don't have to keep asking people to repeat themselves, and I can also keep the TV volume lower, without worrying about disturbing others.Another big plus is the charging case. Not only does it keep the device safe when I'm not using it, but it can recharge the device four to five times on a single charge! This feature is brilliant for me, as I'm often on the go, such as when I'm out camping and might not have easy access to a mains supply.In summary, this hearing device is an easy-to-use, discreet solution for anyone who needs a little extra help with sound. Its compact design, fantastic noise reduction, and long-lasting charging case make it an absolute winner in my book.

I picked up the JD Health Tech Rechargeable Sound Device for Seniors, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The noise cancellation works to some extent, but it’s not as effective as I hoped. The sound quality is okay but feels a bit tinny at times, especially when there’s background noise. It’s comfortable enough to wear for a while, but the overall build quality feels a bit cheap. The rechargeable battery is convenient, but it doesn’t seem to last as long as advertised. It does the job, but not as well as I expected. I’d give it a 3 out of 5.

My dad has started experiencing problems with his hearing which is sometimes very clear although he is trying to hide it and these sound amplifiers seem to help. They feel quite comfortable inside the ear and you could easily forget you are wearing them.They come with a few extra rubber attachments of different sizes which ensure a good fitting with different size ear canals.A key thing with these sound amplifiers is to start it off easy and on a low volume as the brain and ears adjust but the annoying thing is that the volume itself has six levels and there isn't a clear distinction between the high and low volume when you're adjusting the volume by using the earpiece itself.Luckily, they come with their own app as well which does make it obvious when the volume is high or low and for which ear but the downside is that my old man and I assume like other people of similar generation, they're not too tech savvy.On high volumes you get that whistling sound, very similar to the effect happening on stage between a microphone and speakers if the volume in the speakers is too high.They work quite well in terms of amplifying the sounds around and although there is some background noise created by the device itself, I think the secret to have a good hearing is to find the ideal size dome for the ear canal and the right volume.
