Clear ears first
An amplifier cannot send sound through a blocked ear canal. If your ears have not been checked for wax in the last year, ask a pharmacist or GP first. It takes minutes and is the most common cause of muffled sound or whistling.
Try every ear dome on day one
A dome that does not seal lets amplified sound leak back to the microphone, and that leak is the whistling you hear. Most people need a different size from the one they expect, so try them all. If it still whistles at high volume with every dome, the volume is the cause, not the fit.
Start low, turn up slowly
Begin at the lowest comfortable setting and raise it a little each day. Most people settle well below maximum. If you need full volume to hear clearly, a personal sound amplifier is probably not the right product for you, and at that level almost any amplifier will whistle. If you are unsure, contact us before you order and we will help you decide.
Give your ears a few weeks
Most people feel comfortable within two to four weeks. In the first few days sound can seem sharp or tinny. That is the amplification working while your brain adjusts, and it settles. Your 30-day home trial covers the whole settling-in period. If after a fortnight of daily wear you are not hearing more clearly, tell us and we will refund you. Nothing to print and nothing to pay.

100% Hearing Better

After have these a while now, I have found them to be excellent at improving my hearing. Think i must have doggy ears, as I can not get them to fit without hurting my ears after 30 minuets or so. Have tried several of the things i was asked to do, none seem to help, so maybe I need to go to the behind the ear type instead.

I lost the left one the other day, it fell out when I was bending over,. pannick ????

Are there smaller ear plugs??, available not too confident with the fitting at the , moment., have been wearing behind the ear ones for a number of years.
