Clear ears first
An amplifier cannot send sound through a blocked ear canal. If your ears have not been checked for wax in the last year, ask a pharmacist or GP first. It takes minutes and is the most common cause of muffled sound or whistling.

Try every ear dome on day one
A dome that does not seal lets amplified sound leak back to the microphone, and that leak is the whistling you hear. Most people need a different size from the one they expect, so try them all. If it still whistles at high volume with every dome, the volume is the cause, not the fit.

Start low, turn up slowly
Begin at the lowest comfortable setting and raise it a little each day. Most people settle well below maximum. If you need full volume to hear clearly, a personal sound amplifier is probably not the right product for you, and at that level almost any amplifier will whistle. If you are unsure, contact us before you order and we will help you decide.

Give your ears a few weeks
Most people feel comfortable within two to four weeks. In the first few days sound can seem sharp or tinny. That is the amplification working while your brain adjusts, and it settles. Beautifully presented – the box it comes in has an excellent quality feel to it.Very easy to install - in ear (not sure if that is really installation LOL), easy to pair with App on phone, reactive buttons on the amplifier itself and improves hearing greatly - a lot of amplification .Checked all the frequencies (twice) in the app - you identify the lowest volume you can hear for multiple frequencies and they were different for each ear, the right ear needing more amplification than the left, which is what I was expecting as I know that that ear has always been a little worse than the other one.The amplifier is comfortable in the ears, I left the medium tip on that they arrived withEven on the lowest amplification it makes things a lot louder and as such I think it might be a little too early for hearing aids for me.I will however use this for listening to audio books and perhaps for the TV when I am watching it in the company of those with more acute hearing than me!It's pretty quick to charge and the battery life is excellent with the charging case.It isn't cheap at £1995.95 but it has a £25 off voucher and the tech is good so I think that it is value for money.

My dad loves it, has made a huge difference
No problems so far. Setup and pairing easy to follow. I was particularly impressed by the hearing test on the app which sets up the hearing aid for you. Mine only needed a silght tweak to some of the settings and all settings are adjustable in the the app. The automatic phone answering also appears to work well. Generally every bit as good as the £4000 ones I tried last year but decided they were too expensive.My only gripe is that the app needs to remain active all the time and this significantly reduces battery life on the phone, also the bluetooth does not automatically re-pair if the connection is lost

Only just started to use them, however it has been simple to set them up. Took me 15 minutes to unpack, connect to BT & complete the hearing assessment etc. At present they are working better than the aids I paid £3300 for 3 years ago.
Tested this micro RIC device for daily use, and it delivered clear amplification during TV watching, group chats, and outdoor walks. The sound quality is noticeably better in quiet settings, with background noise kept reasonably low. Fit is discreet and light, so it doesn’t feel bulky or obvious, and the ear tips are soft enough for extended wear.Charging via USB is smooth — full charge took under two hours and lasted through most of the day. Bluetooth syncing worked with my phone and tablet for music and calls, though volume control during calls felt a bit sensitive. Setup was fast out of the box, with clear instructions and a sleek carry case.
Easy setup and got use to the hearing aids quickly. May need several attempts to pair with phone correctly but once connected no issues. For me the product works well.
Only got them yesterday, 4 Dec 25, so still learning. So far working great with same day delivery. They are well made and the app is working well. Will follow up on this review when I've had more time with them.
Having been tested by an audiologist at one of the big stores they tried to sell me one of the hearing devices they sell for £2.000 to £6.000, they even fitted me with one and is was really good but in my opinion not worth the money. I went on the internet and found J D Health so i ordered one not thinking it would be as good and maybe not as delicate as the £2.000 one i had tried on. The hearing aid came so i fitted it easy and down loaded the app to tune them in. Just as good as the ones I tried in the store I could not beleive the same item for a fraction of the cost.
These hearing aids are realy value for money I can't beleive what a differance they have made to me they do exacly what it says on the tin. For what you pay for these you could afford to replace them every couple of years if you wanted.

Fit very well and very easy to set up
Took a bit fiddling with test but finally got there tubes are a bit on the small side ie length
One of my ears has always had poor hearing compared to the other, which can sometimes make it hard to hear in conversations if the person is on my left side. These amplifiers work quite well. Easy to adjust volume levels and modes. Fairly discreet design. Comfortable to wear for extended periods. I really like the Bluetooth connectivity. I can easily connect these to my computer, TV etc. Long battery life per charge, easily lasting a full day on a charge. May be a little more technical for an older person than traditional hearing aids, but not something that couldn't be taught/learned fairly easily, in my opinion. These are not cheap but do work well, so not too bad in terms of value for money.
Better than my NHS aids
Seems like a good hearing amplifier but can’t contact JDHEALTH.CO.U.K. to activate guarantee.
Very good and versatile hearing amplifiers, however the charging case does not recharge 3 times as advertised in fact if you have 50% charge left in the charging case it will discharge one of the amplifiers and then have no charge left. Also the app does not retain connection so you have to reconnect each time you open it even when it is running in the background on your phone
I bought 2 pairs for myself and my husband and we are so impressed, they are so easy to connect to the app and Bluetooth. You have total control over volume etc. They fit really comfortably. Definitely recommend these

When we were looking for a hearing aid for my grandpa, it was important to find a reliable and easy-to-use option. This hearing amplifier was perfect - it is compact, fits well in the ear and is almost invisible. After just one day, grandpa got used to it and could independently adjust the volume using a convenient button on the body. Now he can perfectly hear his grandchildren telling him about their affairs and can even comfortably talk on the phone.The device holds a charge for about 20 hours - enough for a whole day of active use. In the evening, just put it in a special case for recharging, and by morning it is ready to work again.
