I have medium loss of hearing in one ear, and poor hearing in the other, and have prescription hearing aids. I tried these last night, and they did help in both ears, the medium hearing ear was not bad at all, the poor ear not so much.For the price, these are worth a try in my opinion, but do not expect miracles, they are hearing amplifiers and do just that.The price, compared to buying them from a shop, is very low indeed, so I would get them if your hearing has weakened, and you have had them checked for no wax, and return them if they are not for you.I did not see where you can get replacement plastic tubes, because the plastic will harden within a year, and very likely need replacing, as "feedback" and reduction in efficiency will worsen, and you will need new ones.These are easy to use, maybe adjust the controls whilst off the ears by tweaking if you have problems whilst they are on.

I am severely hearing impaired and have private in the ear aids which use a battery . I was intrigued by these so was very happy to be offered them to review . Presentation is nice and they come in a really nice looking box that also doubles up as its charger . Don't really need instructions as very simple to use . It comes with one stand alone charger to charge one aid at a time or you just put them in the box and charge them both together with the cable supplied . Has a few difference sixed ear moulds but I found the one it came with on was good for me . There are three buttons on the aid. An on/off button, a volume button and noise cancellation buttonNow I do want to be clear in that these will not replace hearing aids bought especially for you as these are not set for each individuals hearing . Having said that if your hearing is just down a bit across all pitches then these will be good for you to 'up the volume' . Also the price point as my private aids cost me nearly 4 grand and these are less than £50 . So that is a HUGE considerationComfortable in the ears , much better than a full ear mould , and very easy to put in . Volume is good . Quality of sound is not as good as my private ones but then I would not expect it . If you have private aids then you might find these a bit 'tinny ' but they are comparable in sound to my NHS one. My batteries on my aids last less than a week so these are going to be a really good 'emergency back up pair. I think if you have mild hearing loss then for the price these are really good value . Going to try these on my mum too as she has real trouble putting in her NHS ones with full ear mould and I think she will find these much easier .

These worked well for me, better than my £3000 set. One stopped working after 6 months but an email to the website on a Saturday resulted in replacements arriving with me on Thursday, so I have to applaud the after sales service.

It's a very good product

Its a hard one this, they work great but they also magnify background noise so can be difficult to ware indoors in a pub or shopping centre.

Pretty good price but, very good charging capability but according to my grandmother it hasn't made much difference according to the claims.

Hospital lost dads hearing aids so bought these to help him until can get new ones he finds them quite good although dont fit tight to ear so fall out easily charge doesnt seem to last long but great for the price would recommend

Bought for my husband as his hearing is not good and he wont go for a hearing aid test so he opted to buy the amplifiers he says they amplifies the noise brilliantly they arnt to bulky good value comfort ok

Similar in design to my NHS hearing aid, but rechargeable so no messing around with tiny batteries!Comfortable to wear, with a selection of ear domes to suit the user.Easy to fit, good sound quality, plus there are two of them so full stereo sound! A bargain at the price.

These are basic hearing aids to help amplify volume.The box and instructions remind you that they are not designed to replace a hearing assessment and should be used with caution.I ordered these for my dad who struggles to hear conversation with back ground noise and hear softer sounds/voices.He found the hearing aids helpful when watching TV in a quiet room and no longer deafens my mum with the TV volume on max. They didn't seem to be quite as effective with background noise. However as it's his first time trying hearing aids i think he needs to play around with the settings more.To amplify volume these seems to be very effective. Reasonable value and easy to set up, you may just need to find the right settings for you.

My gran found this easy to install and it did assist with clarity. Its comfortable but quite large in social situations. She prefers to wear this at home so she can hear the television better, without having the volume turned up to max.

Absolutely brilliant as hearing aids. My mum is very short on hearing and these work beautifully. They squeaked a bit but were fine on a lower setting. Easy to charge, nice little discreet box that they come in. Very pleased.

Good for the beginning of hearing loss.I must say that these should not replace going to the doctor to discuss hearing loss just in case there is anything else going on.These are very good at just turning up the volume.Relatively comfortable, not for all day wear for me though.Definitely worth a try, pretty good, just make everything louder!4 stars!

For the price, these are OK. I would suggest that these could be great if you need a spare pair of hearing aids, but I would not recommend them as a primary set.The case looks good but I found opening it very difficult and had to ask someone to help me with this.I love the fact that the hearing aids are re-chargeable as I get through so many batteries with my NHS hearing aids and they are fiddly to fit.Compared to my NHS hearing aids though, these hearing aids are very bulky and do not fit snugly on top of my ear. As a result of their bulk I have found it impossible to wear my glasses at the same time as these hearing aids.The controls are fine but I get constant crackles whenever I turn the volume up which is really irritating.

Not small, due to the battery size.Hence pretty good battery life and easy recharge via USB.The charging case also giving additional 4-5 times of usage.It is good fit and not too heavy.Pretty clear and could adjust accordingly to suit.Simple on/off button and a volume dial.Handy assistant to help with amplifying the sound.

My husband had lost his hearing aids and couldn't hear properly. These ones that I ordered have brought my sanity back.no more shouting.and have restored his hearing back to 100%.

These hearing aids are amazing value and have a lot of good points but there are a few issues worth mentioning.1. It's difficult to open the charging box, even with strong hands. I found that I had to squeeze very tight then pull at an angle. There's nothing to get a grip on. This means you have a danger of breakage but also a potential difficulty for those with weaker hands. I'd suggest leaving the lid off if there is any difficulty - the hearing aids will still be able to charge in the case, they just won't be protected. It's great that they have a charging case (USB C lead provided), however, and that you are not dependent on batteries. The case is also neat and attractive.2. I'm not sure how these are supposed to go on at the same time as glasses, especially if, like me, you take your glasses on and off all the time. If you put the glasses under the hearing aids, they are much less securely held in place. If you put the glasses over the top then they aren't really sitting properly on your face. The arms of my glasses are very slim so it would be even more of an issue with some other glasses. There is no guidance on this in the instructions. I'm tempted to attach the hearing aids to a headband and let them dangle a bit lower behind my ears - the wire connecting them to the earbuds is long enough for me to do this.3. In order for these hearing aids to fit everyone, the wire connecting the main body to the earbud is rather long - longer than I need. This means you have some spare wire with nowhere to hide looping away from your ear. However I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by how little these hearing aids show. They are not at all obvious and with everyone wearing earbuds nowadays it hardly matters.
